The Philadelphia Flyers recently announced that they have signed Generals center Scott Laughton to an entry-level contract.
Laughton was the Flyers’ first round selection, 20th overall, in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft. Laughton has spent his two seasons in the OHL with the Oshawa Generals and has totalled 33 goals and 43 assists for 76 points in 127 games. He enjoyed a surge of success in his second half of the 2011-2012 season when he scored 41 points in 39 games.
