Generals Trade JP Labardo to Erie Otters

The Oshawa Generals announced today the trade of JP Labardo to the Erie Otters.  In return the Generals receive a conditional 15th round pick in the 2013 OHL Priority Selection.

"JP was a hardworking and loyal member of the Oshawa Generals for the past three seasons and we are pleased that we could complete this deal early and get him settled,” commented General Manager Jeff Twohey.  “JP was a victim of numbers here with five overage players and we are confident he will be a valuable addition to the Otters and wish him well."

Labardo joined the Generals in the middle of the 2009-2010 season after being acquired from the Guelph Storm.  He played two more years and totalled 137 games, 22 goals, 27 assists, and 49 points in his three seasons with the Generals.
