The Oshawa Generals were out in the community yesterday participating in the United Way Tricycle Race to kick of the United Way’s season.

On Wednesday, September 12th, 2012, four teams from the city and four community teams gathered outside City Hall for a fun afternoon with a barbecue and tricycle race.  Teams collected pledge money and all proceeds from the event went to the United Way of Durham Region.

The four city teams raced with the winners from that group racing the community teams.  The Generals team tied for second place and consisted of General Manager Jeff Twohey, Game Day Manager Andrew Edwards, Ticket Sales Representative Chris Van Dusen, and Sponsorship Coordinator Jordan Quaresma.
